Milan Cards

I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this merino wool blend feels compared to other needlepoint threads I've used. The 50/50 silk and wool mix gives just enough sheen without being slippery, and one card covered about five square inches on my 13 mesh project.

Ten yards went way further than I expected on 13 mesh, probably close to five square inches per card like they said. The 50/50 merino-silk blend has just enough sheen for stitching without looking shiny, and it doesn't fray much when I cut shorter lengths.

The silk-merino blend has a lovely soft sheen that catches the light without looking shiny, and it stitches up smooth on 13 mesh with no fraying so far. One card covered most of a small ornament, so I'll be ordering more colors.
