Vineyard Merino

I grabbed a few skeins of this 100% wool during the sale, and each 30-yard length was exactly what I needed for a small needlepoint project. No thin spots or tangles in the thread.

This wool has a lovely soft hand for needlepoint, way less scratchy than the acrylic stuff I used before. Stitches lie nice and even, and one skein covered most of a 4-inch canvas ornament.

The 30-yard skeins go way further than I expected — I stitched most of a 6-inch ornament and barely made a dent in one. Color is deep and even too, no patchiness where the dye lot shifts.
